The American Association of Food Stamp Directors (AAFSD) is an affiliate
of the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA). AAFSD
was formed to strengthen the administration and manangement of the Food
Stamp Program and contribute to the professional development of its
members.
AAFSD promotes the exchange of experience and knowledge among those
agencies of federal, state, and local government administering the Food Stamp
Program by providing expert advise and consultation on income assistance
issues.
This web site is intended to be a clearinghouse for useful and vital information
concerning income assistance issues and how different states have handled
different circumstance related to these issues. Please check the links to the left
