The American Association of SNAP Directors (AASD) is an affiliate
of the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA). The AASD was formed to strengthen the administration and management of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly the Food Stamp Program) and contribute to the professional development of its members.
AASD promotes the exchange of experience and knowledge among those agencies of federal, state, and local government administering SNAP by providing expert advice and consultation on income assistance issues.
This web site is intended to be a clearinghouse for useful and vital information concerning income assistance issues and how different states have handled different circumstance related to these issues. Please check the links to the left for additional information.
